Hope.

It has been raining. And raining and raining and raining. But here in my windowsill, spring has come anyway:) Here's to hoping!

Tie Dye

Pearl had Makayla over for a playdate this weekend. I love it when it's my turn to have the girls, they are so big now they hardly need any entertainment. Today, I let them tie dye some t-shirts. It was a big hit! I let them be totally independent, and they did great! I love this age!!!!

They turned out so cute. Pearl really wanted to wear hers to church the next day, so we wore it with a jean jumper. Then the girls wore them to school together, such fun! It was WAY easier and less messy than I thought it would be, we'll have to do it again!

He was informed that Mario goes on front. He says "but it's okay."

Disneyland.

We are headed to Disneyland tomorrow. Wish me luck. Sure wish there were less people I had to pack for...

News

It's official. I had my first appointment today... I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant, due October 1st! This is my excuse for my lack of blogging... I'm nauseous all day and fall into bed by 7:30 exhausted. There are some things I've been waiting to journal, though....

When I told Pearl, she asked if it was still ok to hug me:)

One day when I was too yucky to eat lunch with the boys, Sam asked me why I wasn't eating. When I told him I didn't think I could, he nodded sagely and said "yeah, you don't want any food to land on your baby's head!"

We're excited... a little nervous at the prospect of 4 kids, but glad I'm squeaking the last one in before 35... Max is NOT going to be pleased...:)

Busted

Pearl and end up doing TKD without Amy. Pearl asked if we could go to dinner. I figured, given that Amy went home early with the boys, that we would be on our own for dinner. Amy made dinner. When she called to figure out why we were taking so long and found out we were eating out, she wasn't happy. Pearl was very worried, she felt guilty and cried a bit. She remembered mom talking about dinner after the fact.

By the time we were finishing and pearl had cheered up. She said, "we are so busted." "well we should go home so mom can have enough time to yell at us." "moms going to yell at us all night, I'll miss the bus." "I'll miss school tomorrow, I'll miss everything until college! moms going to yell at us so long." "we're so busted."

Surely she exaggerates, we're off to find out.

PS I just put the lolipops in... so dang adorable! I love them! Totally my speed... no stickers, no cranky kids having to write their names a million times...
