Sam and Nature

On tuesday it was a snail (which ended up in an unfortunate shell crushing accident) and on sunday it was a tiny green caterpillar. Sam loves to get right up close to it, ask me what it eats, then try to feed it (whatever it is.)

I had to throw this picture in because Pearl has a new hobby. She used to clean things with clorox wipes (can you guess what she sees me doing all day?), but since I've had my new camera, she is very in to taking pictures. She had to participate in a photography project for school, so I let her use the old camera, and she has now possessed it. She is remarkably careful for a 6 year old, so so far I haven't been nervous about her with it. I'll have to post some of her pictures soon...
