Another thing we did on our vacation was visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The kids loved it, and we decided to get a pass, so it looks like we'll be back within the year. Sam liked the sharks, and he keeps talking about the jellyfish. Pearl was fascinated with the touch tank, and especially the kelp and "my favorite color starfish." It is always fun to see the kids experience new things:)

We went to Monteray Bay Aquarium when I was about 11 years old. It is one of the coolest things my family did when we were kids. They had Manta Rays in the touch pools at the time and it was my favorite thing there! Glad you guys enjoyed it and that you are close enough to be able to go back! Lucky you.
we LOVE the aquarium! We got passes right before we got married and kept them up until recently... (we'll get them again once we get settled) The passes are a great deal! Glad the kids loved it! Maybe we'll have to meet up there!!
I LOVE that aquarium! I remember going there bunches of times on our way up to visit Grandma and Grandpa Madsen and to visit our Uncle and Aunt as well...what memories!!!
