Sam had a fever this week and it turned into hives. At first it was funny...
These were his lips on Wednesday night - they were so funny I had to take a picture. He looked like he had a collagen injection!
A few days later, he was a polka dotted boy! He was uncomfortable and itchy all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Thankfully he's feeling better today!
Ouch!

Whoa! What a trooper! Why/how did he get hives?!? What can you do when it happens?!
Fevers cause that kind of reaction? Was it a combo fever/allergic reaction? Poor lil' guy!
The doctor said (and this happened once with Pearl too) that his body was just reacting to the virus. All I could do was Benadryl, aveeno oatmeal baths, and hydrocortisone cream. It took about 4 days to clear - seemed like forever!
